I had the great opportunity to create and animate some UI elements for this sci-fi dark comedy short. The brief was to maintain clarity on the action but to sell this idea of a refined escort-bot. I used a circular design to signify this is a POV shot, with the layers pushing forward and back to indicate focus shifting slightly. I tried to create UI that made sense in terms of listing all this made up information about the subject, though we elected in the end to translate it all into Chinese in order to contradict with the viewers' belief that this could be an innocent English lady. I also was keen on avoiding cliché in the design, so the 'danger' comes from a few small hints in the animation/ design.
